The series is a spin-off created around a character named Ting Tong from the popular series called Gattu Battu. It revolves around the daily adventures of a fun and lovable character named Ting Tong who has a temporary memory loss issue and transforms into whatever character he sees before him when he loses his memory which turns him into an accidental hero of the town comically catching bad guys by mistake.
Ting Tong is an innocent, simple and grounded character. He has long flat hair falling over his eyes covering his vision always due to which he is unable to see where he is headed and often ends up banging into walls, falling off stairs, slipping of banana peels etc. But that is not all. There is a secret to Ting Tong’s character. Every time something hits his head, Ting Tong loses his memory temporarily. Not only does he lose his memory, he also transforms completely into any character that is present in front of him in that instance, imbibing all the characteristics; be it a human or an animal. His memory doesn’t return unless his head is hit again.
Khoonkhar Singh is the inspector of the town with Hoshiyaar Singh as his hawaladar. He is always late at the incident, always trying to catch the dose brothers. His accent is that of Shatrugan Sinha. He has a persona of a strong policeman
Meeru is Ting Tong’s pet and companion. Meeru is loyal to Ting Tong and their friendship is unbreakable. He is the one who takes care of Ting Tong when he loses memory and tries hard to bring his memory back to avoid misadventures, but comically fails to do so. He has a Hyderabadi accent. He mostly refers to himself as “nanhi si jaan” whenever he is in trouble.
Single Dose is one of the two goon brothers in Ting Tong’s town. They are always up to some mischief. Single Dose is notorious and is the mega mind between the two. He spends all his time planning and plotting mischief/robbery. He is thin and only 3ft tall. He is quite talkative and is the leader amongst the duo.
Unlike his brother Single Dose, Double Dose is tall and well-built. However, what he makes up for in height and body, he lacks in brains and energy. He is quite that dumb and lazy character in this series and hardly ever talks, if he does, he talks slowly. He is expressive in terms of expressions and body language. He is often seen around following his brother’s orders and carrying out his plans only to goof up. his is single dose’s muscle in the equation.
